Obituary for Anthony G "Tony" Penzero

Anthony G Penzero, age 59, was born in Bronxville N.Y. Tony was lifelong resident of Yonkers and an avid athlete. Tony played baseball, flag football and basketball for Hillcrest Lakers Community Club. And was named MVP and Most Valuable Pitcher in the same season. Tony attended Roosevelt High School where he played J.V and Varsity Football. Tony attended WCC and played Football for the Sonics upon graduation. An avid car enthusiast, Tony’s passion for fundraising included attending car shows for causes such as Pediatric Cancer and Alzheimer’s Awareness. Tony was a proud employee of The United States Post Office and a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan.

Cherished extended family include The Penzero, Donzella and Guadaro families. Tony loved his family and is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Penzero and Luann and spouse Rob Delpino, beloved niece Lee Anne and spouse Joseph Marconi. Visiting at the Flynn Memorial Home, Yonkers, on Monday and Tuesday form 4 to 8 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Eugene’s Church on Wednesday at 10 am. Committal will be held privately.
