It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Antonio Barreira Gomes, who passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on December 2, 2022, at the age of 81.

He is survived by his wife Alice, his children Angelina Gomes, Lurdes Figueiredo (Rui), and his beloved and adoring granddaughters, Sofia, Emily, Juliana, Isabella and Cristina. He will also be sadly missed by his brother and sister in law, Manuel and Ana De Brito and brother Domingos Gomes.

Our angel was devoted to his family first and foremost and was cherished by many. He taught us many lessons with the biggest being the importance of family values and strong work ethics. He cherished family vacations especially with his "queridas netinhas" who were his pride and joy.

He loved fiercely and will be missed in the very same way.
