Clara Madaio - Cariani of the Bronx, NY, passed away on October 22, 2008. She was 89 years old.
Clara was born in Corletto Montforte, Italy to Nicholas & Rosa (nee Farrone) Salamone. She was the beloved wife of her first husband, Frank "Dayton" Madaio with whom she had three loving children, Anthony Madaio, Rosa Silveri and the late Nicholas Madaio. She was the cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 3. Later in her life she married Enzo Cariani.
Calling hours will be at FLYNN MEMORIAL HOME, 1652 Central Park Avenue, on Friday, October 24, 2008, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. THere will be a funeral service at the funeral home Friday Evening at 7:00 pm. Interment will be held privately at Mount Hope Cemetery.
