Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sr. Ann Lafferty can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Sr. Ann Marie Lafferty

Sister Ann Marie Lafferty, a Sister of Charity for fifty-seven years, passed away in Saint Joseph’s Hospital on July 19, 2019. Her parents Edward and Marie Lafferty, as well as her brother John Lafferty, predeceased her. Sister Ann Marie served as Educator, and School Administrator, in the Bronx, and later as a member of the Finance Department of Manhattan College, the Sisters of Charity Center and the College of Mt St Vincent. She is survived by her cousin Eileen Catalli, Jane Schortz, and numerous devoted nieces and nephews.

Wake: Tuesday, July 23rd, 2-6: 30 pm; Prayer Vigil 4:30 pm;
Mt. St. Vincent Convent, 6301 Riverdale Ave., Bronx, New York.

Mass: Wednesday, July 24th at 10 am; Mt. St. Vincent Convent
Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Charity of New York.
