Obituary for Binu Joseph

Binu Joseph
Binu Joseph

On September 19, 2019, Binu Joseph, devoted husband, loving father, caring son, brother, and uncle passed away at the age of 48 years. Binu will be forever remembered for having a heart filled with love for his family and countless friends, zest for life, passion for travel and home cooked meals, and celebrating life at every opportunity. Binu touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end.

Binu was born and raised in Bhopal, India and immigrated to New York with his family. He got married on August 26, 2000 to the love of his life, Merin. He became a doting father to Melanie in 2005 and Timothy in 2007. His greatest joy and pride was being their father and he strived to instill family and cultural values. Binu embarked upon many business ventures in his life with passion. He was a member of St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church, Yonkers, New York. He was the past president, current treasurer, and maintained active membership of the Yonkers Malayalee Association and truly embraced the Malayalee culture.
Binu is survived by his mother, Remani; wife, Merin; children, Melanie and Tim; sister and spouse, Sharon and Manoj. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph.

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
James 1:12
