Claire Ryan, Yonkers, NY passed away on March 30, 2020.

Beloved wife of John J. Ryan III. Cherished mother of Alyson Ryan-Staiti (Gregory), Kristen Hurd (Keith), John Ryan (predeceased), and Suzanne Formato (Joe). Beloved sister of Lynn (Tom) Schiro, Luann (Mitchell) Migden, Caren Kirkpatrick, and Tracie (William) Dalessandro. Beloved grandmother of Tessa, Jack, Matthew, Lilly, Samantha, KJ, Charlie, Amelia, and Joey.

She was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Anita Rendino.

Claire attended Iona College where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education. She taught elementary school students in Mount Vernon for 5 years.

Claire, also known as CeCe to her grandchildren, was generous beyond words, and a kind soul, as could be seen by her love for animals. She devoted her life to helping others and making everyone feel at home and part of her family.She also lived life to the fullest and enjoyed hosting big family gatherings. Memories and good times with Claire will live on through the various people she has touched. Her presence will last a lifetime and she will be greatly missed by all.
