Obituary for Cleffen E. Freckleton
It is with great sadness that the family is announcing the passing of Cleffen Emanuel Freckleton. Cleffen age74, of Yonkers New York, passed peacefully at his home on May 11, 2023.
Family and friends are invited to attend the celebration of his life on Saturday May 27, 2023. Viewing hours are from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Funeral service hours are from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 Pp.m. at Flynn Memorial Home located at 325 South Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10705.
Cleffen, “Wren” was born in Rose Hall Dist., Linstead, St Catherine, Jamaica on July 31, 1948, to Archibald and Irene Freckleton. He attended Linstead All Age and Dinthill Technical High schools where he earned his skill as a millwright (industrial mechanic). In his early years he worked at the Alcan Bauxite Plant in Ewarton, St. Catherine until he migrated to Yonkers in 1987. In Yonkers, Cleffen continued his skill as an Industrial Mechanic Technician at American Sugar Refinery Group for over thirty years. Cleffen retired in 2018.
Beloved and missed by Alice and Dianne Freckleton. Father of Robert (Tanya), Clive (Daliah), Rodger (Maxine), Cleffen Jr and Dwight. Stepfather to Tania and Tanisha, Lisa, Shanna-Kay, Kemoy, Horane and Turaine.
Uncle Wren was predeceased by his father Archibald, mother Irene, brothers Kenneth, Alphanso and Paul. He is survived by his sisters Lena, Daphney, Eleanor, brothers Lowell and Albert as well as cousin Suki. Cleffen Freckleton will be missed countless grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
