Obituary for Daniel Cintron

On Saturday September 5th 2020, Daniel Cintron, a loving father, brother, son, uncle, grandfather, and friend passed away at the age of 50. Daniel had been employed by the Municipal Housing Authority for the City of Yonkers for almost 30 years.

Daniel made the best of his times and served more as a friend then a coworker or colleague. He was known by many friends as “Danny”, “Dan the Maintenance Man”, and “Keys”. Danny was a loudmouth, comedian, hard worker, and was your personal megaphone. He was also well loved and known throughout all the communities he touched in Yonkers. His smile lit up any room he walked into and he was the best. Although this is a tragedy Danny would want to be celebrated for the life he lived.

Danny is survived by his mother, Bienvenida Torres, 4 siblings, Cecilia Rivera, Radames Vargas, Xiomara Velez, German Lopez and Blanca Echevarria, 4 kids, Daniel Cintron, Alaejah Cintron, Kayla Cintron, and Megan Cintron and 4 grandkids. He now rests with his younger sister, Lourdes Velez.

Services for Danny will be held on Friday September 18th, 2020(6pm-9pm) and Saturday September 19th, 2020(12pm-4pm) at Flynn Memorial Home on South Broadway in Yonkers.
