I met Dennis 25 years ago at the New York Times. I supported the mainframe systems that his Admarc application ran on.
We worked together many times over the years.
Dennis was a true professional, he was always upbeat, he never seemed to get rattled, even when things were going wrong.
Everyone at NYT who knew him is sad. We will all miss him.

I have known Dennis since 1993, we would go to NY ranger games. We were at the garden
for the NYR winning the Stanley Cup in 1994. They were great times.
I also created several stained glass windows for him; One in his room (a hockey motif).
and one for his parents room(a plant motif).
He will always be in my thoughts.
Love and condolences.

Dennis was the bravest person I knew. He was an inspiration to many. He accomplished so much in his lifetime by getting his college degree and being a loyal employee for The NY Times. I could go on and on but the biggest thing I want to say is I am honored to have known Dennis and his family for the past 55 years. Fly high my friend. Give Jerry and Gerald a hug from me. Gerald will be happy to have some one he can talk to about computers

Uncle Dennis is my Godfather and my biggest inspiration. He is truly a hero and someone I’ve looked up to my whole life. From a young age, I would call Uncle Dennis multiple times a day to bug him with computer questions. Years later, he inspired me to pursue a career in technology. Uncle Dennis is the most caring person I know, I always looked forward to visiting him at Grandma’s house to chat about life. From CDs of Elvis’s greatest hits to mirrors for my car, he was always so thoughtful in the smallest of ways. I will miss my Uncle Dennis so much, but I know he is looking over myself, our family, and especially the New York Rangers!
