Eileen passed away peacefully on February 20, 2023 in Torrington, Connecticut only hours after spending time with her entire family. We were all given the gift of being able to smile, laugh, and cry with her before she passed at the age of 61.

Eileen will always be remembered as a loving and caring soul. She had so many talents, from artistic to intellectual. She will be remembered for her unique style and love of everything old and Victorian, her sense of humor, her wit, and her determination. Most of all she will be remembered for having a heart that was filled with love.

Eileen graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School, went on to receive her Associate Degree from Fashion Institute of Technology, her Bachelor of Arts from Manhattan College and eventually her Masters in Special Education from Fordham University.

Eileen was originally from Inwood in upper Manhattan and spent her later years as a teacher in the Torrington Connecticut School district.

Eileen touched so many lives and loved her family unconditionally. She will be remembered and missed immensely by her loving parents Denis and Theresa Geoghegan, her brother Denis and his wife Mary, and her goddaughter, Kelly, whom she cherished and loved so dearly.
