Obituary for Elisa Laboy
Elisa Laboy was born October 17, 1944 and transitioned May 14, 2023. Elisa is survived by siblings Irene Laboy, Carlos Laboy, Nina Laboy; her Cousins Georgina Cardoza, Carlos Ortiz and Yvette and Yvonne and Lorelle Ulfers, among others.
Elisa is also survived by loving nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great nephews. Titi Elisa (Auntie Elisa), as she was called, was loved and cherished as a second mother. For over 40 years Titi Elisa cared for, nurtured, played with, was confidant and wise story teller to our many children from infancy through adulthood. They say “Aunts are our moms with special privileges.”
There are not enough words to express the loving and positive impact Elisa provided that proved an important part of the upbringing of the women and men we are so proud of today. Her loving dedication to our family will always be known and honored by our entire Family.
May Our beloved Elisa rest in paradise knowing that the children she never gave birth to, will always appreciate, love and remember her as they would their birth mothers.
