Obituary for Emidio Torsiello
On Friday, August 21, 2020, Emidio Torsiello, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away at age 81.
Known throughout Yonkers as "the best barber in town" Emidio dedicated over 60 years to his craft and truly loved every minute of it. Each customer in Emidio's chair not only left with a great haircut, but also experienced a regular dose of his friendship, humor and advice. Generations of families from all over the tristate area went to Emidio's shop, and no matter if you were his next door neighborhood, politician, or corporate exec, you were handled by the same compassionate hands of one of the best in the business, and you always left with a smile.
Emidio is survived by his wife Rajdai, his two children, Micheal and Angelo, his four grandchildren Micheal, Nicholas, Giuliano and Liliana and his stepdaughter, Roma.
A funeral service will be held on Monday August 24th, 2020 at St. Eugene's Church on Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers at 10:30AM.
