Fannie B. Ward was born on December 24, 1939 in the town of Cuba, Sumter County, Alabama to Nathan and Donnie Ruth Ward.
Fannie moved to New York and started her working career as a clerk at Bankers Trust. She also worked for many years taking care of the Sisters of Charity at Mary the Queen Nursing Home in Yonkers.
She met and married Joel D. Eisenstadt. He predeceased her and there were no children born of this union.

Fannie was a longtime member of South Presbyterian Church in Yonkers under Rev. Dr. Kenneth Ngwa. She believed deeply in the Lord Our Savior Jesus Christ and prayed for all people to love and be their best. Fannieโ€™s whole spirit trusted in the Lord.

She leaves behind to mourn and cherish her memory her two daughters; Natalie Lewis and Doris Ward, two siblings; Louise Ingram of Syracuse, NY and Eddie Ward of McRae, GA, 4 grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of loving family, church family and friends.

Raise me up Lord!
I have lived and loved
I have failed and triumphed
I have flawed and feared
I have sinned and repented
My faith is in the Lord and his Holy Word

I would have loved to continue this journey with you but my time here is complete.
Raise me up Lord, I am ready to be received.
Glory be to God!
