With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Limbert Antonio Brea, on March 19, 2022 after a long battle with cancer and CIDP he was 56 years old. Lim or Tony as he was known to family and friends, was a loving Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend.
He is survived by his wife Virtudes (Victoria) Rodriguez Brea, his twin sons Hunter and Austin Brea. His sister Haydee Martinez (Richard), brothers Daniel (Sylvia), Abel (Rebecca) and Luis (Annette), and 9 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Luis Brea and Tecla Brea.
Limbert was born in the Bronx, NY where he also met and married his beloved wife, Vickie. They enjoyed watching movies, traveling and built a beautiful life. The two were together for 25 years. They raised their two children Hunter and Austin in Dobbs Ferry, NY and currently reside in Hartsdale, NY.
Limbert graduated from John F Kennedy High School in the Bronx. After graduation he enlisted in the US Army and served one tour. After discharge he attended Lehman College ROTC and was a proud member of the Pershing Rifles Military Honor Society.
Limbert was a successful businessman, a visionary entrepreneur and investor. Founder of 1-800Fix.com a 30-year electronic communication business with franchises throughout New York City and Westchester County. He was dedicated to his community and believed in supporting local businesses. He shared his love and knowledge of his company and mentored others in opening their own businesses. In many ways Limbert was a humanitarian, not only from his willingness to help others at his expense, but also in donating books to children in the Bronx.
Limbert’s love of family and friends was unconditional, always the first to call and ask how he could help. In his short time with us, he had a profound impact on many people and will remain forever in our hearts.
