Obituary for Margaret C. "Peggy" Looney
Margaret C. Looney, known to most as Peggy, passed away on February 11, 2022 at the age of 84.
Born in the Bronx, NY to Michael and Helen (Snee) Waldron, Peggy is survived by her children Richard Looney (Anthony Pastore) Patricia Looney (Laura Milhaven) and their children Stephanie and Alexandra. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Ellen, William, and Joseph O’Donnell, Barbara McQueen (Mark Rukavina) and Maureen Garry McQueen, as well as her grandniece Sara and several grand nephews, Ben, Nate, Ryan and Corey.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband Richard Looney, and her three sisters: Kathleen McQueen (identical twin), Geraldine O’Donnell (Joe O'Donnell), and Eileen Waldron and her niece Cathy O’Donnell and nephew Michael McQueen.
Peggy was the assistant to the Medical Director at Calvary Hospital for 40+ years. She was an avid reader, lover of the Arts, and dedicated to family, friends, and her church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or Calvary Hospital.
