Obituary for Maria Figueroa-Casanova
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Maria Figueroa-Cassanova, our loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to all whose lives she touched, on December 31, 2022.
She transitioned peacefully while at Lawrence Hospital, Bronxville, NY. She was a true champion and warrior of love to her children and grandchildren and her loyalty and dedication to family and friends was unparallel. We will miss her tremendously, however her loving and vibrant spirit will live with us forever.
A celebration of life viewing will be held at Flynn Funeral Home on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 5pm – 8pm, followed by a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 10 am at St. Peter’s Church, Yonkers, NY.
