Obituary for Mary Lou Grandville
Marie Louise Grandville (née Manganiello), known to her family and friends as MaryLou, of Yonkers, NY passed away in the early afternoon of Monday, January 11th, 2021 at the age of 86. She was the daughter of Antonio and Marie Grace Manganiello. MaryLou is survived by her son Thomas and daughter-in-law Theresa. She is remembered fondly by her entire family, particularly her loving grandchildren Thomas, Tricia, and Daniel.
MaryLou was born in Mt. Vernon and raised in the Bronx, where she married her husband Ernest in 1955 and raised their children Thomas and Marie Grace. She was very proud of her Italian heritage, and is responsible for many of her family’s traditions. Nothing made her happier than to feed her loved ones, who could taste the love she rolled into each and every meatball.
MaryLou’s family takes solace in the fact that she is now united with her parents, husband, twin brother Tony Manganiello, beloved nephew Michael Manganiello, and daughter, whom she cared for selflessly for over forty years after she became ill as a child. She was a kind, compassionate woman who will be sorely missed.
