Obituary for Mary "Maureen" McCabe
Mary “Maureen” McCabe (née O’Donnell) entered heaven on May 28, 2020.
Maureen was born July 25, 1934 in County Mayo, Ireland to the late Patrick and Mary Ellen O’Donnell. She immigrated to New York in 1952 and in 1960, married Eugene McCabe of County Monaghan, Ireland. They recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Maureen will be deeply missed by her husband and children Mary Ann Bageac and her husband Michael, Kathy Burke and her husband Kevin, Patricia Bahor and her husband Philip, Margaret McGrath and her husband Peter, Sheila Sportini and her husband Michael, Eugene McCabe, Carol McCabe as well as her 14 grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Maureen is also survived by her sisters, Alice Killeen, Peggy Reddington, Eileen O'Donnell and Celia Moran and brother Pake O’Donnell. A sister, Winnie Mulholland and brother, John O'Donnell pre-deceased her.
