Obituary for Olga A. Petrucci

Olga A. Petrucci died at age 96 on 10/31/2020 in the early morning of a Blue Moon. She was born in Yonkers to Anna and Michael Wargo on 7/5/1924. She had an older brother Albert Wargo and has a younger sister Elinore Kolibabek.

On 7/16/1944 she married Neal J. Petrucci and together they raised two daughters Lynn P. Tishman & Deborah Petrucci in their home in Yonkers. Neal died on 11/11/2003 and shortly thereafter Olga moved to Naples, Florida and would then summer in Manhattan for a few years until she finally settled in 2010 into the Carlisle Palm Beach in Lantana just south of Palm Beach, Florida.

At the Carlisle she flourished, enjoying a senior community that was beautifully appointed and filled with opportunities for socializing and engaging in activities. She enjoyed walking, bird watching, yoga, exercise, arts & crafts, brain games, and especially playing and teaching the word game Bananagrams.

Olga will be dearly missed by family and friends who all enjoyed and admired her beauty, strength, passion, dignity, and fierce independence.

There is a new star shining brightly in the sky for all to see.
