Obituary for Oswaldo Ramiro Prado
Ramiro Prado was born from the great love of Raquel Naranjo and Alberto Prado on August 13, 1969.
During his childhood, Ramiro was cheerful, funny, mischievous and very curious. From a very young age, he liked to walk while enjoying nature, doing activities such as fishing and horseback riding.
In his teens, Ramiro was outgoing, charismatic, confident, loving, and adventurous. He loved his parents and made it a priority to help his family, he was always striving for more.
Ramiro would tease his siblings about being mother’s favorite. With his jokes he would make his family spoil him more.
When he was 18 years old, full of dreams and goals to fulfill, Ramiro left his homeland and family to start a new adventure in the United States. He made this country his new home and persevered to make his dreams come true. Ramiro surrounded himself with people who appreciated him for his charisma and shared the desire to help others. The church was his refuge and guide to be better every day.
Despite the distance, Ramiro was always connected to his roots in Ecuador. He felt joyous to be able to once again share time with his family and childhood friends, while also visiting the places he enjoyed as a child.
At the age of 27, Ramiro got married to the love of his life, Marylin, they built a home full of love and mutual dedication. As a result of their love, they had two children, Jaden and Jordan, who became his greatest joy and reason to do his best every day.
Ramiro was a very proud father. He was happy with his son Jordan's accomplishments at school, and he enjoyed watching his son Jaden play soccer, sharing the same interest in this sport allowed them to celebrate several triumphs together.
Despite his arduous task of taking care of his children, he was able to make time for his favorite hobbies which were hunting, fishing, biking and making TikTok videos.
In life, Ramiro gave himself to his children in an exemplary way, teaching them with love and patience to be noble, responsible, independent, educated, and loving children.
His parents, children, brothers, nephews, nieces, mother-in-law, in-laws, cousins, church family and friends will all remember him as a wonderful human being. Ramiro earned the admiration, respect, and affection of those who surrounded him who enjoyed his charisma and willingness to help others.
His children have expressed the following: “My dad was someone who always made sure we had everything we needed. He was very articulate talker when it came to showing us how to live and was a role model for us.”
“I remember my father as a caring and loving person. He would always help others and wanted the best for others. My father would always push my brother and I to do our best in everything that we did. He made us laugh when he would say that ‘we would act like wild horses’.”
Ramiro's life will undoubtedly inspire many parents to be better every day and their children, Jaden and Jordan, will always be proud of who their father Ramiro Prado was in life.
Without knowing that his departure would be so sudden, he left us with two great phrases that we will keep in our hearts forever.

Durante su niñez, Ramiro fue alegre, divertido, travieso y muy curioso. Desde muy pequeño le gustaba caminar mientras disfrutaba de la naturaleza y realizar actividades tales como pescar y cabalgar.
En su adolescencia, Ramiro fue un joven hogareño, extrovertido, carismático, seguro de sí mismo, amoroso y aventurero. Amaba a sus padres y tenía como prioridad ayudar a su familia a salir en adelante.
A sus 18 años, lleno de sueños y metas por cumplir Ramiro dejó su tierra natal y familia para emprender una nueva aventura en Estados Unidos. Lugar donde supo acoplarse y perseverar para hacer realidad sus sueños. En este país Ramiro supo rodearse de personas que lo apreciaban por su carisma y deseos de ayudar a los demás. La iglesia fue su refugio y guía para ser cada dia mejor.
A pesar de la distancia Ramiro siempre estuvo conectado a sus raíces y familia que dejó en Ecuador, le llenaba de alegría el poder volver a compartir tiempo con sus padres y hermanos, caminar por aquellos lugares que frecuentaba cuando era niño y reencontrarse con sus amigos de infancia.
Ramiro bromeaba con sus hermanas a cerca de ser el preferido de mamá y con sus chistes lograba que sus hermanas y mama lo consintieran aún más.
A sus 27 años Ramiro contrajo matrimonio con el amor de su vida, Marilyn, con quien construyeron un hogar lleno de amor y entrega mutua. Fruto de este amor nacieron sus dos hijos, Jaden y Jordan, quienes fueron su mayor alegría y motivo para dar lo mejor de él cada dia.
Ramiro fue un padre muy orgulloso de sus hijos. Disfrutaba de los logros de su hijo Jordan en la escuela, le gustaba mirar a su hijo Jaden jugar futbol y compartir el mismo interés por este deporte les permitió celebrar varios triunfos juntos.
Sus hijos lo recuerdan de esta manera: “Mi padre siempre se aseguró que tengamos todo lo que necesitábamos. Fue una persona que le gustaba conversar sobre cómo enfrentar la vida, fue y será mi gran modelo a seguir.”
“Yo recuerdo a mi padre como una persona afectuosa y amorosa. El siempre ayudaba a los demás y quería lo mejor para ellos. My papá siempre nos motivaba a dar lo mejor de nosotros en todo lo que hacíamos. Siempre nos hacía reír cuando nos decía que actuábamos como caballitos salvajes.”
A pesar de su ardua tarea que involucraba sacar a sus hijos en adelante de una manera admirable, trataba de consentirse con sus hobbies preferidos que eran la caza, la pesca, ciclismo y sus videos de TikTok.
En vida, Ramiro se entregó a sus hijos de una manera ejemplar, enseñándoles con amor y paciencia a ser unos niños nobles, responsables, independientes, educados y amorosos.
Sus padres, sus hijos, hermanos, sobrinos, suegra, cuñados, primos y amigos lo recordaremos como un ser maravilloso que supo ganarse la admiración, respeto y cariño de quienes lo rodeaban por su carisma y disposición para ayudar en todo momento.
