Words are few, thoughts are deep,
memories of you we will always keep.

you fought so hard to stay.

We sat at your bedside our
hearts were crushed and sore,
we did our duty to the end
'til we could do no more.

You have gone before us to prepare with God a
heavenly home in which we should all dwell when
the time is right.

Your presence we miss,
your memory we treasure,
loving you always, forgetting you never.

Sad are the hearts that love you,
silently tears will fall,
living our lives without
you is the saddest part of all.

Our family chain is broken
nothing feels the same.

But as God takes us one by
one our chain will link again.

The spiritual cord that binds us together cannot be cut,
Surely not by death.

We come today to say good-bye to the physical focus of our relationship
And say hello to the relationship with your soul that now begins anew.

The adventure ahead is not dark but light.
