Obituary for Seth Alicea
Seth Alicea passed away in the early morning hours of February 22nd, 2023 at the age of 53.
He was affectionately known to friends and family as “Half-Pint”, and was born in Yonkers, New York on January 27th, 1970. He then moved and spent his childhood in the warmth and sun of Puerto Rico. In 1980, he returned to Yonkers where he eventually graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1988.
Seth was an avid baseball and softball player in his spare time. He was known for his lively sense of humor and his contagious laughter among his friends and family. If Seth was in a room, chances are he was telling a story, making a joke, or talking sports to anyone around. A charismatic salesperson, store clerk, and caretaker throughout his life Seth’s proudest accomplishments were his network of friends and the love for his immediate and adopted family. His larger-than-life persona will be missed by everyone.
Seth is survived by his loving mother, Maria P. Alicea, his wife Angie Alicea, his children Elizabeth Cruz and Kyle Sebastian Alicea and his sisters: Nidia P. Guevara, Abigail Alicea, Sarah Mercedes, Enid Alicea-Wyre, and Eunice Alicea Hudak. He will also be remembered by his granddaughter, 7 nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A service will be held on Monday, February 27th, 2023 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Flynn Memorial Home 325 S Broadway, Yonkers, NY 10705.
