Obituary for Sr. Angela Marie Rooney
Sister Angela Rooney (1917- 2020) died at St. Vincent DePaul Nursing Home on May 27, 2020. She entered the Sisters of Charity of New York on February 2, 1939. Including her first mission in Holy Trinity School, Manhattan, Sister taught a total of 40 years on elementary and middle levels in schools in Manhattan, the Bronx, Yonkers and Mt. Kisco. In addition, Sister devoted 31 years of her life serving in full and part-time clerical capacities. She retired in 2010.
Sister Angela is survived by several cousins and the Sisters of Charity with whom she has shared life for 81 years.

Interment: Saint Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers, NY
