Obituary for Sr. Anne Miriam Connellan
Sister Anne Miriam Connellan, celebrating seventy five years of commitment
as a Sister of Charity, passed away at Yonkers Gardens on September 16, 2020.
She and her seven siblings are the children of the late Thomas and Anne
Connellan.
Sister Anne taught students of all ages in Diocesan elementary schools
as well as at Barnabas High, Cathedral High, St Joseph by the Sea and
St Francis College in the Bahamas. She is survived by her sisters Mary Dougherty and Elizabeth Marie McGahren.
Her nephew John O Neil and many devoted nieces, and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions, Wake service will be limited to Sisters of Charity and
family.
Liturgy of Christian burial will take place at St Margaret of Cortona, on
Saturday September 26, at 9:45 AM.
In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate donations to the Sisters of Charity Development Office, 6301 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx New York 10471.
