Sister Anne O’Connell (1936-2022) died on February 13, 2022, at the NY Presbyterian Allen Hospital. She entered the Sisters of Charity of New York on September 8, 1954. Sister Anne’s ministry of education included elementary and secondary school teaching in several schools including St. Joseph Academy, Manhattan; Elizabeth Seton Academy, Nativity, and Cardinal Spellman, Bronx; Academies of Resurrection, Rye and Mount St. Vincent, Tuxedo Park and St. Joseph School, Florida, NY. She served in Coordination and Programing in ITV (Instructional Television) in Dunwoodie, Yonkers.

Sister Anne is survived by her sister, Sister Ellen Rose O’Connell, her brother, John, loving nieces, grand-nieces, nephews and grand-nephews, and the Sisters of Charity with whom she has shared life for 67 years.
