Sr. Marguerite McGilly (1937-2020) died at Hospital for Special Surgery on May 5, 2020. Sr. Marguerite (formerly Sr. Regina Richard) entered the Sisters of Charity of New York on September 8, 1958. She worked in childcare then taught primary grades in schools in the Diocese of Brooklyn and the Archdiocese of New York. Sr. Marguerite later volunteered as a pastoral minister in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is survived by nephew John Ressa and niece Lori Ressa and the Sisters of Charity with whom she shared life for 62 years.

Services are private. Memorial Mass at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Charity of New York.
