Sr. Mary Catherine McGlynn (1925- 2020) died at Kittay Senior Apartments on February 21, 2020. She entered the Sisters of Charity of New York on September 8, 1944. Including her first mission in Visitation School, Bronx, Sister taught a total of 31 years in several elementary schools in Manhattan, the Bronx and White Plains. In addition, Sister devoted 38 years of her life, in part-time and full time administrative capacity, advocating for those in need of proper housing. She served in Alpha Housing Coalition, BX, Knickerbocker Plaza, NYC and Squadron Gardens, New City, NY.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews and the Sisters of Charity with whom she has shared life for 76 years.
