Thomas Robert Killilea
September 18, 1937 - November 16, 2022
Bob was born and raised in New York City, New York. He attended Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx. After graduation he joined the Navy and traveled the world. After 3 years in the Navy he joined the New York City Police Department and served for 20 years. He retired from the 47th precinct in the Bronx. He also attended New York Institute of Technology and received a B.S degree in Police Science. After retiring from the NYPD he worked for 15 years at Bessemer Trust in Manhattan.
He enjoyed his summer home in Ocean Grove, New Jersey with his wife Jane and many Pekinese dogs and his most recent rescue Casey. In his spare time he enjoyed jogging, reading and cruising the world and was a loyal member of the Bill Wilson program.
He also served on his coop board for over 10 years and participated in his wife's work events. He is survived by his wife Jane De Bont Killilea, his sister Maureen De Young of Forked River and his niece Karen Wichelns and husband Dave and his nephew Keith De Young and his wife Kim and their children.
He and his wife are members of St Josephs Church in Bronxville, New York
