Obituary for Virginia T. Walsh
Virginia Walsh of Fair Lawn, NJ born and raised in the Bronx, NY passed away on November 13, 2022 at the age of 88 with her close family at her side.
She was greatly loved by so many and will be missed dearly. She was the oldest child in her family of 6 children and is predeceased by her parents Marion and Howard Walsh along with 3 of her siblings Loretta Peterson, Arthur Walsh and Patrick Walsh. She is survived by her sister Maureen Fusaro and brother Howard Walsh.
She was the loving mother to her 2 children Kathleen and Thomas, loving grandmother to Kristin and proud great grandmother to “the love of her life” Luke. She was the aunt to 15 nieces and nephews.
Before Virginia retired, she was the office manager at the Bronx Zoo Animal Health Center, a job she truly loved. She became lifelong friends with many of the people she worked with and was fascinated by the medical aspects that she was exposed to through her job.
Virginia was a devout catholic and prayed the rosary every day. She especially loved Padre Pio and would pray to him often for his intersessions. Please remember her in your prayers and keep praying for her.
